ASQ CQIA Certification Exam: How to Pass It First Time

Updated on 21 September 2026. What’s new: CQIA exam fees corrected to $334 for ASQ members, $434 for non-members and $234 for retakes.

To pass the CQIA you need to answer 110 multiple-choice questions in 198 minutes and reach a scaled score of 550 out of 750. Forty of the 100 scored questions come from a single domain, Improvement, so weight your study time towards it and train yourself to read quality tools at a glance.

That sentence hides a good deal of detail, and the rest of this article unpacks it: what the American Society for Quality asks about in each of the five Body of Knowledge domains, who is allowed to sit the exam, what it costs, how to build a study plan around the question weights, and what separates candidates who finish comfortably from those who run out of time.

The ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate is a foundation-level credential in ASQ's Foundation Quality category. It does not assume you lead a Six Sigma programme or audit suppliers for a living. It assumes you work somewhere quality matters, whether that is manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, financial services or software, and that you want independent proof you understand the vocabulary, the tools and the team behaviours that improvement work depends on.

IIBA CPOA Exam: The Hurdles That Trip Candidates Up

Updated on 21 September 2026. What’s new: pass mark corrected, since IIBA reports the CPOA result as pass or fail and publishes no percentage.

Most candidates who fail the IIBA CPOA exam did not study too little. They studied the wrong thing at the wrong depth, revising business analysis theory for a paper that asks 60 knowledge-based questions in 90 minutes and reports nothing but a pass or a fail. Fix that mismatch first, then clear the rest of the hurdles below one at a time.

CPOA exam guide cover with business professionals discussing the biggest challenges and how to overcome them

Every hurdle in this guide is a real one. Some are about the material, some about the clock, and several about the paperwork and the proctoring rules that quietly cost candidates their fee before a single question appears on screen. Each section names the thing that goes wrong and what to do instead.

What does CPOA stand for, and what is the exam actually testing?

CPOA stands for the Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis, awarded by IIBA, the International Institute of Business Analysis. The name matters, because the first hurdle is a wrong mental model. Candidates turn up expecting either a business analysis theory paper or a framework quiz about running sprints. It is neither. The exam tests product ownership analysis, the discipline of deciding what is worth building, showing why it is worth building, and continuing to show it as the product and the market move.

CP APMP Exam: How to Prepare for and Pass the APMP Practitioner

It is Tuesday afternoon, the submission portal closes on Thursday, and three sections of the response still have no owner. What a bid manager does in the next hour is exactly what the CP APMP certification tests. APMP's Practitioner exam gives you one bid scenario and 80 questions in 150 minutes, and asks you to judge what should happen next. You pass it by applying the APMP Body of Knowledge to that scenario, not by reciting it.

CP APMP is the set of letters you add after your name once you pass the APMP Practitioner-Level Certification. It sits one step above the Foundation level (CF APMP) and one step below the Professional level (CPP APMP). Foundation asks whether you know the vocabulary of bid and proposal work. Practitioner asks whether you can use it well when a real opportunity is going wrong, with an incomplete capture plan, a late kick-off and a team spread across three offices.

This guide covers what the credential proves, who is allowed to sit it, how the exam paper is built, what each of the four competency areas really asks, a six-week preparation plan, and how you keep the credential once you have it. Every exam detail below comes either from our exam data or from APMP's own certification pages, checked in September 2026.

CPBA Certification: What Changed and What the Pega Exam Covers Now

Updated on 8 October 2026. What’s new: the exam now follows Pega Platform '25 (code PEGACPBA25V1), with Pega GenAI worth 10% and Insights worth 5% of the topic list

Yes, the CPBA exam has changed, and older study notes still describe a topic list that no longer exists. The paper now follows Pega Platform '25 (code PEGACPBA25V1): It stays at 50 questions, 90 minutes and a 65% pass mark, but Pega GenAI is now a tested topic, Insights is a separate block, and case management still leads the weighting.

Has Pega retired or replaced the Business Architect exam?

No. Pega Academy's page for the Certified Pega Business Architect exam, read in October 2026, lists the paper as applying to Pega Platform '25, carries the exam code PEGACPBA25V1 and shows no retirement date. That is the same version our product page covers, so a guide that still talks about a 2025 refresh as if it were upcoming is out of date.

LEED AP O+M Exam Study Plan: 30 Days on LEED v5

Updated on 1 October 2026. What’s new: the exam now runs on LEED v5 with eight content areas, and Energy and Atmosphere carries the most questions, 21 of the 85 scored.

Yes, 30 days is enough for LEED AP O+M if you already hold the LEED Green Associate credential and can give it about an hour to an hour and a half on weekdays and a longer block at weekends. The exam has 100 multiple-choice questions in 120 minutes, and you need 170 out of 200. It now runs on LEED v5. This plan spends the days where the marks are: Energy and Atmosphere first, then Indoor Environmental Quality.

Most 30-day plans on the internet are a list of weeks with a vague topic each. That is not enough for this exam, because LEED AP O+M is the specialty exam for people who run buildings that already exist. Its questions assume you have seen a utility bill, a refrigerant log, a waste hauler's report and a cleaning contract. So the plan below uses a different idea. You pick one building you know, real or imagined, and you study every area of the exam against the records that building would produce.

Below you will find the version question first, because it decides which books you open. Then the exam facts, the split of the scored questions, a day-by-day calendar, and the practice and exam-day routine for the last week.

ServiceNow UI Builder Training and Micro-Certification: What to Study

Thirteen questions sounds like a lunch-break exam, and that is exactly why people underprepare for it. The ServiceNow UI Builder micro-certification gives you 60 minutes, costs USD $300 and is reported as Pass or Fail, yet each question assumes you have built something in UI Builder and watched it behave. Reading the training once is not enough; a page you have actually wired together is.

Three professionals at a desk discussing SMC-UIB study strategies

This guide is for developers, administrators and consultants who searched for ServiceNow UI Builder training and landed on the credential that follows it. It walks through who the exam suits, the prerequisite course, the seven weighted domains, a set of small builds that cover them, and how to handle select-all questions when a single wrong tick costs the whole item.

Everything about the exam's content, audience, prerequisite and structure comes from ServiceNow's own UI Builder micro-certification blueprint, which I read on 8 October 2026. The blueprint page was last updated about a year earlier, and the exam is still offered through ServiceNow University.

Who should sit the UI Builder micro-certification?

ServiceNow describes the purpose in one sentence: a successful candidate can create and configure web-based workspace and custom portal experiences in UI Builder, using Next Experience components and custom web components. The audience is open to ServiceNow customers, partners and employees, and no employer sponsorship is needed to book it.

PHR Practice Test: How the PHR Passing Score Works

Updated on 23 September 2026. What’s new: the passing score is corrected, since HRCI reports the PHR as a scaled score of 500 on a 100-700 scale, not as a percentage of questions.

A percentage on a PHR practice test proves less than most candidates assume, because HRCI does not set a percentage pass mark for the exam. Your result comes back as a scaled score somewhere between 100 and 700, and 500 is the line. Once you know that, a practice test stops being a number to chase and becomes what it should always have been: a way of finding which of the seven functional areas can still cost you the attempt.

Can a percentage on a PHR practice test tell you whether you will pass?

Not on its own, and the reason is worth understanding before you sit another timed set. Percentages circulate widely in study groups and on revision sites because they feel concrete, but HRCI has never published one for the PHR. What HRCI publishes is a scale. Its guidance on reading a results report is blunt about it: "The score will fall between a range of 100 and 700, and the passing score is set to 500." No percentage appears anywhere in that sentence, and none appears on the results report a candidate receives.

How ASQ CQE Certification Shapes the Future of Quality Management?

Updated on 29 October 2026. What’s new: corrected the exam fees to ASQ's current $450 member, $550 non-member and $350 retake prices

The quality standard most employers audit against was revised in September 2026, and the shift in its wording shows where the job is going: less proving that a product was inspected, more showing that its failures were planned for. Quality engineers who can rank risks, read data critically and hold suppliers to account gain from that shift, and those are the strands the ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Body of Knowledge is built from.
