Purchasing & Payment

Explore 7 resources related to Purchasing & Payment on ProcessExam. These resources help certification candidates understand key aspects of exam preparation, including exam structure, study strategies, and expectations for scenario-based or applied assessments. Reviewing these materials can help improve readiness and confidence before attempting the certification exam.

Do You Offer Refunds?

The defined refund route is the conditional 100% Money-Back Guarantee. It returns your Premium fee when a documented, good-faith attempt at the official exam still falls short and the guarantee’s stated conditions are met. It is not a change-of-mind refund, and it applies to paid Premium, never the free Demo.

So there is one refund path rather than a general returns policy, and it is tied to evidence that you prepared and then sat the exam. What counts as a qualifying claim is set out in full on its own page, and that page is the authority rather than anything summarised here.

A process exam refund runs through the conditional guarantee

The Money-Back Guarantee is the route: a conditional refund of your Premium purchase, available when a prepared attempt at the official certification exam is unsuccessful and the stated conditions are satisfied. The exact conditions — and the policy that governs them — are set out in What Is the 100% Money-Back Guarantee? and on the policy page at /100-money-back-guarantee, so a claim is measured against those, not against an informal request.

Paid Premium only, not a change-of-mind on your project management exam

It applies to paid Premium only; the free Demo costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund there. And it is not a mechanism for changing your mind after buying — the guarantee protects a documented attempt that fell short, which is a different thing from an unused purchase or a second thought. Reading its conditions at the start of your Premium period, rather than after the exam, is the way to know in advance what a valid claim for your process or project management certification exam looks like; any query about your own purchase can go to support@processexam.com.

Can I Switch Exams After Purchase?

Premium is bought for one specific certification exam, and the purchase stays tied to that exam — there is no self-service option to switch it to a different one. To prepare for another exam you would take out Premium for that exam; for a question about an order you have already placed, write to support@processexam.com.

This follows from how Premium is sold rather than being a restriction bolted on afterwards. Each practice bank is built for a single credential, and your access is granted to that bank, so a purchase and an exam are paired from the moment you check out.

Why a premium process exam purchase stays with one exam

In SAFe terms, a Lean budget is guarded to a specific value stream rather than shuffled item by item — funding is committed where it was authorised, and moving it is a deliberate decision, not a default. A Premium purchase behaves the same way: it is committed to the exam you chose, not a balance you can redirect at will. That keeps each practice bank aligned to the credential it was built for, which is the same reason the questions are written against one vendor’s objectives rather than pooled across unrelated exams.

Preparing for a different project management exam

If your plans change and you now need a different process or project management certification exam, the route is to obtain Premium for that exam. Anything specific to an order you have already placed — a selection you think was made in error at checkout, for instance — is best raised directly with support@processexam.com rather than assumed either way; quoting the order details from My account helps them find it quickly. Nothing here should be read as a promise of a free transfer between exams.

Will I Receive a Receipt or Invoice?

Yes. An order-confirmation email reaches you straight away, restating your order details and welcoming you to the site — that email is your receipt by email. For a formal invoice, every past invoice is stored in My account and can be printed whenever you need one.

There are two records here, each for a different purpose. The email is the immediate proof that the order went through; the stored invoice is the document you print for expenses or reimbursement. Knowing which is which saves waiting for a second email that is not coming.

The confirmation email is your process exam receipt

The moment the order completes, a confirmation email arrives. It repeats the order details back to you and welcomes you to the site, and it is the only receipt sent by email — no separate invoice follows in your inbox afterwards. If it is not in your inbox within a few minutes, the spam or promotions folder is the usual place to look before assuming anything went wrong.

Printing an invoice from your project management exam account

When you need a formal invoice rather than the confirmation email — for a claim against an employer’s training budget, say — your previous invoices sit in My account, ready to print on demand. That means the paperwork for a process or project management certification exam purchase is available whenever the finance conversation happens, not only in the minutes after you pay.

What Happens After I Purchase Premium?

Once your payment clears, the exam you bought is added to your account. Sign in, open the User menu — the one labelled with your username — and choose My Premium Exams, where your full-length and mini sittings are waiting. There is nothing to download, install or redeem.

Access is attached to the account you purchased with, so signing in is the whole of it. Premium Certification Practice Exams live in the premium member’s account, and that is the one place they appear.

Finding your premium process exam in the account menu

The User menu is the one that starts with your username, and My Premium Exams sits inside it. Open it and every exam you have bought is listed there, each ready to launch as a full-length or a mini sitting. Because access is tied to the account rather than to a link or a device, you reach it the same way from any browser you sign in on.

When your project management exam access begins and how long it runs

Access normally goes live inside an hour of paying, though it can stretch to six hours while the payment is confirmed, so a short wait afterwards is expected rather than a fault. Once access is live, the full Premium period begins on its own — unlimited full-length and mini attempts across the fixed 60-day window — with no further action needed from you. If the exam has not appeared after that window, checking Orders under My account and then contacting support is the order to follow.

How Do I Pay If My Card Is Not in US Dollars?

Prices on ProcessExam are shown in US dollars only, but a card issued in another currency still works. The payment settles in US dollars one of two ways — your own bank converts it, or you switch the displayed currency at the gateway — and ProcessExam itself never adds a charge for the conversion.

Both routes reach the same US-dollar amount for the exam; they differ only in where the conversion happens and who shows you the local figure. Neither adds a cost from ProcessExam’s side beyond the product price and any tax that genuinely applies.

How a non-USD card still settles a process exam fee

The first route is to let your own bank convert. You are charged in US dollars, and your bank applies its exchange rate on the day the payment settles, so your statement may show a slightly different figure from the on-screen price, along with any conversion fee your bank chooses to levy. The second route is to change the currency at the payment gateway itself: it can display the amount in your local currency instead of US dollars, and the converted figure it shows already folds in the conversion and the exchange-rate margin, so you see the local total before you confirm.

What your process exam fee actually covers

ITIL 4’s financial management practice treats a matter like this as one of cost transparency — being explicit about which charges belong to the service and which sit outside it. On that principle the position is plain: we charge only for the product you are purchasing and government taxes if any; we do not charge for currency conversions or exchange-rate fees, and the buyer is solely responsible for those. A conversion cost you may see, then, sits between you and your bank or the gateway, not with ProcessExam.

What Payment Methods Are Supported?

You pay online through a single secure payment gateway that accepts three instruments — a Credit Card, a Debit Card or PayPal. Whichever card you use must be cleared for international transactions, and every amount is displayed in US dollars.

The distinction worth holding onto is that these are three ways to pay, not three separate payment services. One gateway handles all of them; at the pay step you simply choose the instrument that suits you and complete the transaction there.

A single process exam gateway for card or PayPal

A Credit Card and a Debit Card are both accepted, and so is a PayPal balance or a PayPal-linked account — but they route through the same checkout rather than three different providers. Because the charge is taken in US dollars, the figure you approve is the dollar price shown against the exam, whatever the card or account behind it. There is nothing to set up in advance beyond having one of those three ready to use.

Cards must clear an international project management exam transaction

The one requirement to check is that your card is permitted to make an international transaction. A card locked to domestic use, or one your bank has not enabled for cross-border payments, can be declined at the gateway even when funds are available. If a payment does not go through, that permission is the first thing to confirm with your card issuer; a card cleared for international use, or PayPal, avoids the problem entirely. A different currency on the card is handled separately, and that is covered in the next answer.

How Do I Purchase a Premium Practice Exam?

You buy Premium one certification exam at a time, from that exam’s own practice page and while signed in. A short checkout carries you from Buy Now through Add To Cart, Checkout, Review Order and Submit Order; you pay by card or PayPal, and the exam then opens under My Premium Exams. No price appears on this page — it is shown on the exam you choose.

The sequence is deliberately linear, and each screen acts as a checkpoint you clear before the next one opens — the way test entry and exit criteria in ISTQB terms gate one phase from the following one, so nothing proceeds until the step before it is complete. That is why the steps are worth following in order rather than skipped.
