How Do I Pay If My Card Is Not in US Dollars?
Prices on ProcessExam are shown in US dollars only, but a card issued in another currency still works. The payment settles in US dollars one of two ways — your own bank converts it, or you switch the displayed currency at the gateway — and ProcessExam itself never adds a charge for the conversion.
Both routes reach the same US-dollar amount for the exam; they differ only in where the conversion happens and who shows you the local figure. Neither adds a cost from ProcessExam’s side beyond the product price and any tax that genuinely applies.
How a non-USD card still settles a process exam fee
The first route is to let your own bank convert. You are charged in US dollars, and your bank applies its exchange rate on the day the payment settles, so your statement may show a slightly different figure from the on-screen price, along with any conversion fee your bank chooses to levy. The second route is to change the currency at the payment gateway itself: it can display the amount in your local currency instead of US dollars, and the converted figure it shows already folds in the conversion and the exchange-rate margin, so you see the local total before you confirm.
What your process exam fee actually covers
ITIL 4’s financial management practice treats a matter like this as one of cost transparency — being explicit about which charges belong to the service and which sit outside it. On that principle the position is plain: we charge only for the product you are purchasing and government taxes if any; we do not charge for currency conversions or exchange-rate fees, and the buyer is solely responsible for those. A conversion cost you may see, then, sits between you and your bank or the gateway, not with ProcessExam.
So a non-USD card is no obstacle: choose whichever route you prefer, and from ProcessExam expect only the US-dollar product price for your process or project management certification exam and any government taxes that apply.
