How Do I Create an Account?
Registration is a single short form on the site, and it asks for a small, predictable set of details: a username, an email address and a password, the certification exam you are preparing for, an optional exam date, agreement to the Terms, and a reCAPTCHA check. There is no email-verification step in the way and nothing to pay at sign-up — you register, and you are in.
It helps to know in advance exactly what the form wants, so nothing on it is a surprise. PRINCE2 treats configuration management as recording just enough about an item to identify and manage it — an identifier, a short description, a status — and a sign-up form is the everyday version of that: it captures the few details needed to set up and recognise your account, and no more.
The fields a process certification sign-up asks for
On the registration page you provide:
- A username — the name your account and User menu are keyed to.
- An email address — where order confirmations and a password-reset link would go; there is no separate verification email to open before you can start.
- A password — the credential that, with the username, opens your account.
- The certification exam you are preparing for — a required choice, so the site can point you at the right practice exam from the outset.
- An exam date — optional, for your own planning; leave it blank and set or change it later if you prefer.
- Agreement to the Terms — a checkbox you tick to accept the site’s terms.
- A reCAPTCHA check — the routine test that confirms a person, not a script, is registering.
Where payment and verification sit in a project management sign-up
Just as telling is what the form does not ask for.
